My clients are often surprised to hear that I have a coach. As the queen of accountability they tend to assume that I have all my shit together and that I wouldn’t need a coach.

But I believe in the value of coaching which is exactly why I have my own coaches.

It would be a little hypocritical for me as a coach to say that I have nothing to learn or no benefit to gain in having a coach myself.

Personally I love working with a coach, I get excited about learning what they know, new skills, systems and knowledge to help me level up.

And it’s such an amazing feeling when you put it all into practice and see how much you can change your life.

Here’s my top 4 reasons why you should work with a coach.

Accountability

Staying accountable to someone other than yourself is a powerful thing.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to make excuses to yourself in your head than to say them out loud to your coach. No one wants to admit to making lame ass excuses.

Having a coach is kinda like having a little angel on one shoulder to balance out the cheeky devil of your inner voice on the other.

Level up

The skills, habits and behaviours you currently have that have gotten you this far will need to level up if you want to push yourself to the next level.

Coaches help you level up, and they help you do it quicker and more efficiently than you would if you tried to figure out everything all by yourself.

Why spend all that time and energy going it alone when you can tap into the experience of others and short cut the learning journey.

Improve performance

In energy, in fitness, in work and business, we all feel better about ourselves when we’re performing at our best.

When you have the 3 main pillars of health and wellness  – mind, body and recovery, all working in harmony together you’ll feel energised and alive then you can truly thrive.

A coach won’t sugar coat the truth

I can tell you from experience that you have to find the right person, they need to get you, who you are and what you want to achieve.

Whilst you might kid yourself that your muffin top could be worse, or that it doesn’t really matter that much if you don’t exercise any more because you’re ‘too busy’ a good coach will drop truth bombs on you and not sugar coat the truth to protect your ego.

After all, the benefit of having a coach is having someone who will tell you the truth to help you become a better version of you.

You work with a coach to get a transformation. Investing in a coach is investing in yourself, and let’s be honest as Loreal says in their ads…

You are so freakin worth it.
